Certified Laser Hair Removal Provider (CLHRP)

The IALA has joined with the National Council on Laser Excellence (NCLE) to provide Laser Certifications of the highest standards for Laser and IPL based hair removal. This IALA Laser Hair Removal Certification is available to all those who meet the educational and experience requirements, and who pass a proctored examination. Applications and information are available on the www.LaserCertification.org website in the "Candidate Handbook". The NCLE is a credentialing board of the non-profit Professional Medical Education Association which was established in 1978, and the credentialing board has offered Medical Laser and Hair Removal Certifications since 2000.

The IALA Training and Credentialing committee has developed a comprehensive and standardized Laser Hair Removal Training Outline and Objectives that is available free of charge to anyone wishing to provide an IALA and NCLE Laser Certification compliant training program. All IALA members adhere to the high standards of these objectives.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL COURSES: The IALA has joined with the Laser Training Institute to offer joint workshops in Laser Hair Removal. These three day programs meet all the requirements of the Standardized Training Outline and qualify the individual to sit for the Laser Hair Removal Certification examination. These courses include a Laser Certification Review and administration of the exam on the last afternoon of the course.
